Description

Katy is a big red tractor who comes to the rescue when her beloved city, Geoopolis, is buried in snow.  In this unit, everything is snowy!

While the unit is designed to accompany the book Katy and The Big Snow by Virginia Lee Burton, all of the activities stand alone and can easily be done without reading the book.  The book just adds a little special connection and pizazz!

A total of 8 differentiated activities, plus an easy, engaging field trip idea are included in each pack.  Also included are a full set of printables, additional resources, a dramatic play invitation, and literacy questions related to the featured book.

A fully differentiated, common core aligned activity pack, it can be used at home or in the classroom!
